Canary was founded in 2001 by husband and wife team Mason Wendell (Principal Designer) and Megan Wendell (Principal Publicist) who wanted to create an artist-focused business that would draw from their own artistic backgrounds as musicians who graduated from Berklee College of Music, launched several successful tours, nationally released and promoted albums for their own bands, and founded a small record label. In five years, Canary has handled promotion and design for over 100 projects.
