I’ve had the pleasure of escorting Mr. Glynn Turman around Philadelphia as he’s been in town for his role in The Wilma Theater’s My Children! My Africa!, which begins previews tonight and opens on Dec. 13th.  Mr. Turman is well known for his many TV, film and theater credits, which include HBO’s The Wire, A Different World (remember that show?), and the cult classic Cooley High.  You can read a feature with him in the Dec. 5th edition of the Philadelphia Tribune.
Yesterday, we hit the Lowes Hotel for a live interview on CN8’s Your Morning.  Everyone wanted to get photos with Glynn (pictured here are host Greg Coy and Glynn).  And since I was there as his PR rep, I collected a lot of cards - from the professional stylist there to talk about winter fashions for men (apparently color is in), head shots from one of the models, and even an offer from a policeman who said “give me a call if you ever need to get somewhere in a hurry.”  So THAT’s where my tax dollars are going!
