Girls Rock Philly, Philadelphia’s ONLY rock camp for girls, wrapped up the inaugural camp session with a rockin’ showcase over the weekend but not before taking the local press by storm! The first ever camp session was a huge success. Campers kept busy all week long learning about women in music, forming bands, and writing their own music and lyrics, culminating in a live concert performance for their families and peers. This week’s episode of White Bored features a fun coloring game. The Canary gang took a trip under the sea and when they came back everyone drew what they saw. Mason drew a pirate ship fighting a scary sea-dragon while a whale watches the action. The pirates were frightened but really she was just trying to be friendly. Emaleigh drew a happy naked man getting a fun ride from the whale’s blow hole. Megan didn’t want to get her new shoes wet so she stayed on the beach and drew the fish she saw walking around her. Newcomer John was still being initiated to the company in his under-sea prison so he drew the angler fish that guard him. Sadly, Carrie didn’t get to draw anything because she was eaten by the angler fish.
