Haunted Poe

For Haunted Poe, Canary Promotion successfully engaged in media relations to sucessfully develop a growing, citywide awareness of Brat Productions’ theatrical reinterpretation of the traditional haunted house and to secure print, online, TV, and radio coverage that featured everything from Poe’s connections in Philadelphia to the live cockroaches and other notable elements of the show. Lace in Translation

The Design Center at Philadelphia University (TDC) needed a full communications plan for one of their largest exhibitions to-date, Lace in Translation.  The exhibition featured new commissioned work by European designers Tord Boontje and Demakersvan, and Canadian artist Cal Lane, who used TDC’s historic Quaker Lace Company collection as inspiration for installations in and around the Center’s unique and intimate space. Rosenbach Museum & Library

Canary designed and developed a Drupal website for the Rosenbach Museum & Library which highlights the museum’s many exhibitions and events as well as its vast collection of rare books and manuscripts. We developed a robust and detailed design vocabulary that easily differentiates the many levels and types of content. The site is targeted toward several audiences, including museum visitors (new and returning), members, families, academics and researchers, funders, and general art and history enthusiasts. Future of Music Coalition

Canary needed to re-architect Future of Music Coalition’s (FMC) established site with massive amounts of content and bring the best of that content to light. The site needed to feature research, congressional testimonials, issue-focused articles, and an annual policy summit that invites hundreds of people to convene in Washington. We created a site architecture and design and built a system that lets FMC publish as often as they like to efficiently promote the best of their content on the home page and on each section landing page.
